There have been quite a few Koa Beans on ebay in the past few months. A few have sold but most just languish in Travis Bean purgatory like unloved foster children who can't find a loving home. It seems that when standards become available at 3k they sell and when artists become available at 4k they sell. Other than that they just sit there and get relisted month after month. Non original Beans or Beans who do not have a case have no hope of breaking the 3k mark. Two years ago when bean prices where rocketing I thought they would eventually settle down but I did not think they would settle this low. I do have to say there has been a lack of quality beans on ebay lately. There seems to be a great deal of "molested" beans who are missing their cases or knobs or are just all together "wrong". There also seems to be a bunch of beans who leave ebay at 2k and come back a week later at 4k! Is it just me or is ebay a bad place to buy a bean lately?? I guess the best stuff got locked away in collections never to be seen again. What do you guys think?
