I was wondering if anyone knew of anyone who had, or had heard of NOS bodies without necks. I've got a bass that was heavilly modified and repainted, and restoring it is next to impossible.

Keep checking eBay. NOS guitar bodies appear there quite often... I don't remember ever seeing a TB2000 body though. If I were you, I'd have someone cnc machine a cool ass polished aluminum body or something :)
