i own a 1000A serial number #987, and have had it for around 2 and a half years now. i have been trying all this time to find out any history on this guitar, such as who owned it previously. for some reason, i'd love to know if it has ever been used in any bands before, and whereabouts in the world it was. it is a koa wood body, with the transparent knobs, in excellent condition. any information is much appreciated david

I was the original purchaser of # 949, and 988, and although I cant gaurantee it, more than likely the guitar was purchased at Strings N things in Memphis Tennesee. at the time that I bought mine, S&T had taken a large shipment of over 50 guitars and most of these were 1000As. I have a friend still affiliated with the original owner of the store and will have him search his database for any info he might be able to provide you....
