I'm pretty sure the original saddles were 10mm wide, with a 50mm spacing. Not many other guitars had spacing that narrow - about 2" - I think the most narrow standard bridge is about 2 1/16" spacing. So, I think these would be too wide for any Travis Bean with an original bridge.

Thanks for the reply, Frank.
Do you (or anyone else) know if a drop in replacement has ever been determined, or are they all in need of filing?

As far as I know, there aren't any direct replacements, but there are some that come very close. The saddles for a 1970's Fender Telecaster Deluxe or a 1980's Fender Lead will fit (as will the base plates, if you countersink the three mounting holes.) but they're rare and kinda pricey. I think the original bridge parts were based off the Fender design, and I've seen some Fender bridges that seemed like they'd been modified for use in some of the prototype Beans.
For saddles, these will fit and are the closest I can find if you don't want to mill them out of solid brass and chrome-plate them yourself - http://www.ebay.com/itm/6.....9797b8:g:zVMAAOSwpzdWq~RJ - they're 10.3mm wide and look pretty close to the originals, so the string spacing would only be 1.5mm off. There are also stainless steel "Dragonfire" saddles on Ebay that are pretty close and look nice.

I think Kevin at Electrical Guitar Company is also re-making replacement bridges for his run of Travis Bean Designs guitars. I'm not sure if he's selling them separately, but you might get a nice bridge and save some time by contacting him.

Thanks again, Frank.
I think Kevin has closed up shop... no replies from him via site contact page or Facebook.
Those Chinese ones look accurate, but maybe not very high quality.
Graph Tech works as well, but I think they need to be shaved a bit.
Will keep investigating and let y'all know if I find something!!
