I have owned a Lefty Artist model for nearly 20 years. (ser#1189) listed on site. Being an unusual item among an already rare group of instruments, I have no Idea whatsoever what it's insurable value may be. As in most instances with rarer items, its value is probably tied to what someone seeking might ultimately pay to aquire one. But no references are available to me. Should I assume it more valuable to a Right handed model? And then, how much more? I would be thankful for any thoughts or input.

I also own a lefty TB1000, a Standard, #1394 (again listed on this site with pics). I bought it only six months ago.

Evan, if you would like to email me at awkwardsilence@btinternet.com I'd be pleased to hear from you. I'll also let you know what I paid for mine.
I presume you're in the USA (as most Bean owners seem to be) and prices here and in Europe seem to be higher than over in America.
Anyway, drop me a line some time...
Best, john
