Hi,
I have bought a Standard body and I am building a NEW aluminum neck for it. I've been building aluminum necks for a while, so this isn't new to me. Check out some of my work at: http://hometown.aol.com/gbailey842/main.html
I'm still deciding what to use for the fingerboard, (Rosewood, Ebony or Black Phenolic), I want to put star shaped inlays in it. I'm still not sure what pickups I'm going to use. I think I might use a pair of PRS Dragon II pickups or PRS Santana III pickups. I have a thin piece of Rosewood with a dragon inlayed in it, I was thinking of using it to make a pickguard, so the Dragon II pickups would be a good match. I have no plans to alter the original body, it's a clear finished Koa body. As Travis Bean owners and fans, I would would like your comments or suggestions, please write me at Baileycustom@aol.com
