looking for anyone in aus who owns a tb500. i hae just made a 500 copy and would love to compare by a/b ing it with an original.

I'm in Melbourne - I used to own a 500 (no more, alas!) I would be interested to see photos of your copy! What did you do for a neck / pickups?

made the neck from a solid billet of t6061 aluminium. pick ups are just seymour duncan vintage style p90s. if you get a chance have a look in the general discussion forum section of the electrical audio website [http;//electrical.com] under homemade tb500. there are a couple of photos that i posted there. thanks for the reply

ps i am about an hour south of sydney if your ever up this way and have time to check it out. there is also a possibility that in the future a friend and myself will be building similar style of guitars to order
