I need suggestions on a bridge compatible with a model 500 guitar. . . Any ideas, anyone?

No, the Standards and Artists have the same bridge. It looks like a simple 3/16th ish bent plate with holes drilled in it for the allen screws for mounting to the neck assembly and mounting the bridge saddles. The 500's look like a casting of some type. Probably aluminum. It has sides on it that keep the saddles from drifting. They are fundamentally different. But I think your 500 (wiggle) is one of the prototypes (right?) so yours may very well have the same bridge as the Standards and Artist.
I completely disassembled my 500 3 months ago to repair the notorious cracks where the body meets the neck. I'll dig thru them and see If I have a good shot of the bridge by itself. Let me know and I can E-mail them to you if your interested.

Ezra,
If you have a good photo of a 500 bridge, I'd love to see it. Email me at REMOVED. Also, any measurements of the assembly you (or anyone else) can provide would be appreciated. I've purchased a 500 that needs a new bridge.
Thanks,
Linc

I'll check tonight, and send you what I have.
Let me know what measurement you want, and I'll accomodate you the best I can. I just changed strings this week end, but next time i change them I can pull the bridge off and get you some more specific information. As I remember it is a fairly complex cast.

Thanks, Ezra. The picture will be helpful. . . The guitar I bought should be in my hands in a few days, so I'll probably be able to determine the measurements I need.
Best,
Linc

Yes. . . I'm planning on nursing it back to health (with valuable assistance from Frank Kelleher and Matt from ABC). I'll let you know how it turns out. . .
