Hey it comes with a "D'margio" pick-up ... and a horrible paint job. The seller seems to have a hard time holding the camera steady - particularly when photographing the cracks and dings. Definitely a rescue mission.

i thought it might go for around $1000

i wanted to bid, but i'm short on cash right now
i do like fixing guitars and things - and saving (restoring) things that have gone horribly wrong. hopefully whoever bought it will post their restoration.

Some will be paying dearly to get that thing running again. No bridge fits them other than a TB and the rails for the bridge pickup were cut to make that other work. Its ashame what people do. Hopfully one day it will be brought back to life.

I am the one who bought #745. I am a lefty player and I am currently building lefty bodies for this bass. I am planning to build three bodies (one with koa, one eith cocobolo top, and one with spalted maple top. I am also having a bridge made from scratch. I don't know how it will go but i will post them when I finish making them. The only concern I have is the pickup. I know it will be very difficult to find a pickup that fit. I would appreciate if you have any suggestions.

congrats sakiyoshi ~ good luck with the re-build

can't wait to see pictures

3 bodies - are you planning to make them all the same shape or do 1 as a tb2000, 1 as a wedge, then something else? decisions, decisions
