a friend and myself are looking into to doing similar style guitars in the future. wouldnt be direct copies. we still have to find out the deal with the patent on the through body neck design. would need to get in touch with travis bean to get his thoughts on the matter etc. it was quite simple to make just quite costly. if you know a friendly metal machinist you could get one made easy enough. will keep you posted on any future advances

I can't wait to see you turn your 1986 Pontiac Fiero in to a Lamborghini Countach with a $5,000 body kit. That's gonna be sweeeet.

never claimed it is going to be as good as an original. jiust made a guitar with the same materials in the same style as the tb500. its a good design and the only reason i can see that more companies arent doing it is they can make timber neck guitars cheaper and still get there dollars. its no great engineering feat to build one. your message implies that i built it so i can pretend i have a bean. i think your missing the point.

That was me, it was on the EZboard TB site, but I think the image host account I had them on expired. If anyone wants to host them I'll send them out. I completely broke mine down to fix the infamous neck crack, I took a few pics along the way.
