Hi all,
It was years ago when I called the Travis Bean manufacturing plant in California and talked with a gentleman who's name I wish I could remember. We had a great conversation about how the necks were made and why he was a real fan of what I called the classically flat neck. I'm not sure if he used that term. That's what I had (serial number 1630) and I loved it.
In any case, I had also tried to call them about pickups. I was to late. The guitars were no longer being manufactured. I did, however, get someone who told me that the pickups were made by Bartolini. Can anyone verify this? To this day they remain my favorite pickup with outstanding spectrum and crisp power. This would be a great "FYI" for me should someone point me in the right direction.
Thank You, StanW
