Koa Beans bring back strong memories of the 70's when everyone was stripping guitars for the natural look. I must admit to a bit of nostalgia when I see that aluminum and koa combination! Take a look at a mid 70's guitar player magazine and you won't believe all the ugly (and I mean really ugly) natural wood guitars that were being sold. By contrast koa Travis Beans are like a simple and elegant "machine in the garden". Timeless and profound.......and best of all, they kill rodents and injure small children when cranked.

I agree with Charlie, a Koa Bean is a real thing of beauty. I got into the color finished Beans only after many years of owning Koa Beans only. I would love to own a early body zebra wood artist
