I recently bought a TB2000 and the fretboard is separating from the aluminum from the 1st-5th fret.
I found someone that says they could fix it but didn't know what kind of glue to use. I saw on an old post that said "Tap Marine Epoxy with a slow catalyst" was the way to go. Is this the best option for the work I need done, and if so, what is a slow catalyst?
Any help is very much appreciated.

I asked several luthiers the same question and the favorite here was Titebond polyurethane glue. It's as strong as epoxy and is easier to work with. Find a way to force it in there, and clamp well- inner tube cut into a continuous strand wrapped around works great. It'll be dry in a day or less. There will be a foamy squeeze out as it dries, so protect the surrounding areas. It's a bitch to clean up. Stew

I just had the finger board/frets replaced on my TB1000S. Player's Guitars - Worth, IL 708-671-0710. Give them a call. This thing plays amazing now.
