I have a question about the bodies of travis beans. Are they all made from a solid piece of wood? I'm looking at a TB1000s and it looks like it was made from a couple pieces of wood. There is even a seam where it looks like two different pieces were put together. Is this something they did or maybe a fix that happened after the guitar was made?

As far as I can remember, they're all made from more that one piece.

Good, I was hoping it wasn't just that one guitar. Is common for guitar bodies to be made out of more than one piece of wood? Does it have something to do with the aluminum neck or is it to save money on materials?
