I'm just wondering what kind of strings everyone likes to use on their beans and what kind of music they're into and like to play with them.

I've been using Elixer 0.11's on my 1000S and I think they're great. Perhaps not as twangy as some other strings I've used, but they sound fine to me and last a long time.

I play mostly rock tinged with jazz and folk.

I play D'Addario strings .. 10s. I like 'medium' grit distortion. I play a TB1000S through a Marshal halfstack. I play 'alternative' if that's even a term any more.
