Just some info that may be needed for TB owners and that nobody have yet answered on any TB site.
I asked luthier Michael Dolan on the Dudepit ezboard 'what type or make of adhesive would you use to fix a wood fingerboard to a Travis Bean aluminium neck?'
His reply was "TAP MARINE EPOXY with slow catalyst"
Tap Marine have a web site and details of this adhesive are listed. From what I understand this adhesive is normally used for boats and ships. So I'll work on the premise that if it holds your boat together in the middle of an Atlantic storm it should hold a TB fingerboard in place.
