Recently, TB1000S #1288 has been listed on eBay. This may not be what it appears to be.

Some of you might remember a TB1000S that was listed many times missing a serial number and 3-piece body. Here is original posting on the forum:

The listing #1288 has different pickup rings than the photo above, but the grain pattern on the body matches. Also, has the same 'incorrect' bridge as the photo above. This Bean now appears to have new pickguard or NOS pickguard. Serial on the headstock... appears new.
I've shown inside cavity photos of this neck to others (images sent from previous owner). The neck appears to be original (based on mill marks), and the body appears to be original, but did not have any serials (body or neck) which is odd. This guitar appears to be altered further by forging a serial number on the headstock.
