HI! I'll be selling a black Travis Bean Standard reprodution guitar soon. This one has no original parts on it, I even made the body. I made this body to accept regular humbucker pickups because TB pickups are impossible to find, so I wanted it possible for someone to change pickups at will. See what you think of it. I have a picture of what it looks like so far, it's not quite finished yet.

Sweet...
What kind of wood did you use for the body? Is it a thicker or thinner Bean body? CNC or handcarved?

HI,
The body is Poplar, 1 3/8" thick and It wasn't CNC, I used a mill for most of the cutting, like for the receiver, bridge, pickups, etc. I used a hand router to do the edges and stuff. I made the neck to fit one of the original Travis Bean bodies that I have and in turn made this body fit that neck.
Thanks, Greg
