I have a TB1000S that is a paycheck guitar. In the last year that TB was in business, he paid his luthier's with the guitars they were building at the time. I had to put mine in the shop at EGC who took over the warranties of TB guitars. He replaced the input jack. He showed me that the guitar was originally black but then sanded down to the original wood. The wiring was also the wrong colors. What should have been a yellow wire or whatever was grey. What type of wood was used for colored guitars? They wouldn't have used Koa and then paint it. There is a pic of it in the database. #1498.

I think it would've either been koa or magnolia...
