Just saw this recently, the folks over at the Electrical Guitar Company finally have a proper website up. It's looking quite good!

http://www.electricalguitarcompany.com/

Also, I have an mp3 up on the net, the main instrument is my baritone that I got from Electrical... Up until about 1:30 into the song, the only instrument (beside the drums) is my baritone. Even though it sounds like there's a guitar and a bass, it's actually just 3 tracks of baritone.

The "added bass" in the filename is because folks had commented that the mix didn't have enough low end in it, so I boosted a bit in the 50-80Hz range to fill out the sound a bit.

It's a mellow song. The baritone can be made to bark when picked hard. This song was all very soft playing.

Enjoy!

I just bought the Standard. It's quite awesome! I got the TB1000 pickups, but with split coils for that single coilish sound, but more like a TB500 single coil. The pickups absolutely sound great!!! I'm impressed with the variety of tone I can get with this guitar. With some adjustements, I can make this guitar sound EXACTLY like my TB1000S, a few more tweaks.. it sounds like a TB500. There are a whole other range of tones you can get with this. It's very 'meaty' and 'agressive'. Massive response and natural presence. Pickups and body react well with my Rivera 100W tube amp. Play softly and the tone is clean and load, hit it hard.. and it rips your face off. Tonely, this guitar gives me everything I need from a guitar.

My only complaint on the guitar is the neck. They're modeled after Veleno necks which are thin thin thin thin. You get use to it, but switching between my TB1000S and Electrical is awkward. I mentioned this to Kevin B. at Electrical, and we're going to model a new neck after my TB1000. He'll hollow out the neck to compensate for the weight change. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this guitar. Once I get the neck sorted out... I'll be in heaven. The Electrical basses are modeled already to Bean necks ( I believe so).

If anyone is interested in a Bean.. but can find one, I would consider the Electrical Standard. I like how he took some of the items of the Bean, that I didn't like.. and improve upon them. I originally use to play Les Pauls.. so I always wished the pickup switch was at the top.. Electrical has that. I always felt the horns on the TB1000S were pretty 'tight' to the neck... I don't like feeling my fingers hit the body when I'm up high on the neck. The Electrical Standard has wider horns, but retains the same TB1000 body shape. I like TB1000S rather than the Artists (I like the flat top vs the arch).. The Electrical comes with flat top. He's modeled the Travis Bean humbuckers.. and I mean.. spot on. Once I get the new neck.. I would have to say it's the next generation Bean.

Thanks!
