Have you all seen this auction???

http://cgi.ebay.com/Travi.....ZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Notice the last picture posted in the auction. They show an exploded view of what looks to be a TB1000S. In that picture, the bridge is a block that would sit down into the body and attach directly to the neck receiver. Is that the way it looks to you?? Does anyone know if there were actually any of the 1000 guitars built like that? Is this something he did with the 500 guitars?

Why am I asking this?? Because the very first time I saw at Travis Bean body unassembled, it just seemed to me that this is how these guitars should have been made. I mean, it's just my opinion, who can argue with success, right?? I just always wondered why there would be that section of wood between the receiver and the bridge. I just seemed like metal to metal would be a better anchor.

Anyway, it's just my opinion and besides, maybe this will draw more attention to the auction by people who haven't seem it yet.

When I took my TB2000 apart, there were little metal "sleeves" in the holes on the body where the strings pass through it. Maybe that made more sense than a metal block?
