Hello fellow "Beaners"-
I am the owner of #173, a TB1000S guitar which I've played professionally for over 35 years. I am currently in the process of refinishing the body. The original finish had been stripped years ago to natural from White or Ivory and I'd like to clean it up to new condition. Any suggestions on getting the neck from the body would be greatly appreciated. I don't want to damage either during separation so your advice will be well received. I'm guessing it may be a giant dovetail joint but don't know for sure. It doesn't want to come apart without a lot of pressure which I'm hesitant to apply. Thanks for a great forum I will post results once the finish and reassembly is completed.
Thanks!
Rick
