What serial numbers were the beginning of the the thinner bodies? I have #1315 standard and it has the wider horns but the thicker body. I am thinking this is a transition period before the thinner version. Has anyone tried to compile all the various changes and their serial numbers and dates. By the way the pots are dated early 1977 on this one. It would be great if everyone with an original Bean would check their pot dates.

The horns became longer and the body width at the area of
the horns became wider. This happened between Artist
numbers of 1097 and 1145, and on Standard between 1215 and 1315.

In 1978, the Standard/Artist bodies became thinner.

Your comment her helped me to narrow the range a bit (thanks!). I've come up with the range just by looking at pictures on the Internet for the past 12 years., on this site and on ebay.
I believe it to be accurate.

"By Artist number 1028 the thinner body was in use. On the Standards
the change occured sometime between 1315 and 1559."
