Came across this picture of Steve Albini the other day while browsing the net, has anyone seen it before? To my eyes it looks like an EGC prototype, the headstock is the right shape, without the cut out and the body shape is reminiscent of a standard, maybe Kevin can chime in? It's definitely an all aluminium guitar, I know Steve has a couple of Veleno guitars, but it certainly isn't one of those.

Yep thats the prototype. That was from when Shellac played with Shannon Wright behind Chase Park Transductions in Athens GA a long long time ago.

Cool, thanks for clarifying Kevin, I assumed as much going by the shape of the body and headstock. Definitely cool to see, especially knowing how far things have come since then!
