I own TB2000 no.454 and want to replace the nut so I can space the strings a bit more widely. I want to remove the original nut without damaging it or (of course) damaging the neck. It appears to simply be glued in place.

If anyone out there has removed/replaced a brass nut on any Travis Bean bass or guitar, please let me know the best way to do this.

Thanks,

Curt
