HEY!

While we're telling stories and talking about prices. I'd love to see what a certain TB guitar would go for.

I once had a customer write wanting a pickguard for his TB1000S. He said that the guitar DIDN'T have the two little holes that are normally under the pickguard and he was wondering if he would have to drill them in his body to put the pickguard on. He didn't want to do that because the guitar looked good and he was afraid of messing it up. He then sent me a picture of the guitar. OMG! I couldn't believe it! This thing looked GREAT! To this day, it's still the best looking TB I've ever seen! The grain is amazing and it was in GREAT condition! I turned him down on the pickguard. Since this one didn't have the holes and no indication of ever having a pickguard, I figured that MAYBE it was built without one on purpose, like maybe a special order. It may have even belonged to spmeone famous at some point. The guy agreed, so I hope he never put a pickguard on it. Anyway, I'd LOVE to see what this one would go for. Yeah, I've seen some great looking Beans for for big bucks, but I think this one would REALLY go big. If anyone is interested, I still have the picture..........

That's interesting about the holes. I had a older artist where the pickguard fell off, and it didn't have holes. I contacted Frankentank (old Bean employee) and he never mentioned anything about holes either. I wonder if this is something they added in later production?

I would love to see the pics... post a link!

Thanks

I know, RIGHT?!?!?

It IS gorgeous, but I have no idea what the serial is on this one. I never had it in hand. This was a few years ago, I didn't think to ask about the number. Also, I don't even know how to contact the guy. I do know his name is "Jeff" because it's in the name I gave the picture.

HEY JEFF!!! If you're out there, give us more info!!!
