Two questions on pick-up height:

For TB2000 players, how high do you keep your pickups?

Also, what is used to raise pickups on TB2000's?

The only way you'd be able to raise the height of the pickups would be to put a shim under them... they're not height adjustable. The two screws that go through the neck only hold the pickup to the neck, that it.

I have seen pickups at different heights, but I think that was just based on how they were manufactured...

I'm glad to know it is just a makeshift shim that is to be used in the raising of the pickups as opposed to something that maybe my bass was missing.

As far as pickup heights, does anyone know if the standard is very low, ie no shims, or to be set equal to the height of the neck, that is the pickup is level to the fretboard?
