Interesting modified TB2000

So do you think this is a new body? Or modified (hacked) TB2000 body on this bass? Also, notice the extra do-dad below the knobs?

Hard to tell from the picture. It sure could be chop job and a refinish on an original body. The area around the horns look like it has been sawed. I have no idea what the additional controls are for. Interesting.

Had a little time just now. I just this bass on top of the current TB2000 on eBay. Seems to line up pretty good. I couldn't manage the angle of the modified bass to be completely flat, but got it close. Controls and bridge positions in relation to both bodies appear to be the same. The contours appear to be trimmed from the original TB2000 design. I bet that bass is super neck heavy.

Nice work. The serial number is #847. Can this be added to the database? I was not able to copy the photo for some reason.
