I have a vintage early 80\'s Travis Bean Bass Serial # 386 and I am selling it on Ebay. What would be a reasonable price for this item, it is in good condition except for some of the laquer is stripping on the top and back. I'm not sure exactly what model # it is. If you think you may be able to help me if you had a picture, let me know, i've got plenty of pictures available.
Thanks, Adam

hello, i would first-off recommend that you register your bass with this site. they are trying to compile a "complete" list of all TB's currently in existence. it is very important in that it certifies authenticity, and "books" your insturment into a certified database. As far as a listing e-bay price goes, I would recommend setting a reserve at $900.00 for this. I would set it at this for two reasons: 1.) so you only have people who are "serious" about the purchase bidding (trust me, i have been ****** before by a deadbeat), and 2.) so you won't understate the actual value of your insturment. I think that if you got $1200.00 out of that guitar (in this economy), you would have done VERY well... please keep us posted!!! -dave
