Anyone else here playing one? Mine's #573, and I bought it new at EU Wurlitzer in Boston.

yeah, i play one too. mines 865 but i've got a horrible feeling it used to belong to the guy from japan (the band not the country, i'm no racist). i saw some coverage of them on top of the pops 2 and it is identical.

Me too. Mine came from Bill Kamans collection. There are only suppossed to be three, but some could have been re-boarded.

Either that, or the only three are accounted for right here... Mine is definitely factory stock. I bought it brand new.

Hi, I happened to have picture of Mick Kahn playing TB2000. It shows fret and position marks. Is your bass converted from fretted one? z

Your comments about it being good for a small group setting are dead on. I play in a duo with drums a lot. It works great with a slide too. I'll post pics soon.

according to the former product manager at TBG, about 5% of the basses they made were fretless (so a total of about 50). about half had fret markers and half were blind. mick karn's had fret markers, and i'm pretty sure he didn't let his go, though his main bass isn't the bean anymore.
