Not sure of the wood, but has a very plain grain. Poplar maybe? New brass nut. Plays and sounds great. I feel lucky that I bought this one before the most recent price increses. I had a 1000A in the mid 90's, but sold it. I will not be selling my current one.
Original Description:
Body is worn from playing. Pick scratches are plentiful, and the finish on the body is dull. Not at all abused, but clearly played often. Guitar has a nice feel, and I like it more than the 1000A that I used to have, but sold in 1997.
