It's not the BIN as much as the starting bid price. A lower start with a reserve will probably do the trick for the guy.

I still smiled. I think the stand is the deal breaker at this point.

Just curious, why does no one want one of the lowest production Beans made? 5k is too high for my wallet other wise Id be all over it. Is that the case with everyone else as well?

I think if it was a guitar and not a bass it would sell. I had a chance to buy one of the guitars that he made in the 90s for $6,000...or, it might have been $8,000. I kind of wish I would have bought it. I also wish I would have bought the cream wedge that was up a few years back for $5,000.

The price is right. I predict it sells this time.

Im assuming your speaking of the purple one that was on ebay for 6k. Those 2 guys still have all 6 of them as far as i know.
I bought the 3 reissues I have, all for less than 5k. I just cant justify it. I was finally told were the 6th bass went to. It was made for a young fellow in California that Bean really liked.
The wedge that sold was my old Wedge #12.

The starting price is the same as it was the last time. There is no reserve, as was the case the last time. If it were a guitar, it would be gone.

I was wrong. No bidders....again. I guess the re-issue basses are just not that hot a commodity.

Kevin, can't believe you sold your Wedge! I guess after you have one for so long, the novilty wears off. I know I am long over-due to get in touch. I was almost ready to order an EGC then stuff came up, but I still would love for you to look at the boxes we spoke of and to speak on the phone some day (velenos, wedges, beans, egc, etc, etc...). I'll be in touch and can't wait to buy an ax from ya. -peace
