new tb1000 owner/need new saddles

the saddles on my newly aquired tb1000 have been worn creating sharp edges. breaking strings. looks like soft metal. are the saddles also brass? if so, what is the best replacement for the six, staying true to the original elements? thanks!

My TB2000 had a sharp little point on the edge of the channel in the saddle that the D string sits it, and D strings used to snap in that location a lot. I went to the hardware store, bought a $3 set of metal files, and filed the edge smooth.
