It has 2 pickguards, one on each side, identical. If you have ever seen one with double guards, let me know. Mine is in excellent condition. I have played it maybe an hour since I bought it, but I do love it.
I purchased, with case, on a business trip in Phoenix on July 31, 1985. It was in the classifieds for $300 and I purchased for $275 from Mario Amodeo. I was interested because my friend had a white one. He later went down in the PAN AM plane that was bombed over Lockerbie, Scotland. His wife still has the guitar. I will post a picture later.
