Description

Description:   When I got it, the brass nut was worn down on the 6th string (low E) and the saddle screws were badly rusted. The action could not be adjusted. I sent Greg Bailey the nut and the saddles in 2008 and he crafted a new brass nut using the old one as a template and got the saddles back to normal and now the action can be adjusted properly.

The tone pot and knob for the bridge pickup appear to have been replaced at some point (long before I got it). Based on some slight damage to the body at this pot, it looks like maybe somebody dropped it or hit it on something back in the day and that's what necessitated the pot replacement.

Pot codes on the original pots are 1377639. The replaced pot has an Allparts number with part of the code soldered over, so I'm not totally sure about the date on the newer pot. Whoever replaced the pot did a fine job. It doesn't seem to affect the tone from what I can tell. The guitar plays, sounds great, looks great.

Appears to be completely original in every other way.

S/N 1299 was already in the database but I know don't if mine is the same 1299 as the previously listed guitar. The body on mine has 1299 painted in the pot cavity.

Pot Codes:   1377639
