hi, im very interested in this tb500 on ebay but am concerned about the stress cracks, they look pretty bad in the pics.. would this become a worse problem over time? would it weaken the guitar if it was dropped or knocked?
also is 4,500 uk a fair price for it this condition?
last question, i read something about pickups going microphonic? how common is this, can it be fixed if it happens?
thanks, richard

I have some concerns about the bent headstock. It does not affect playability, but its one of those things that makes it hard to sell a guitar. Despite what Kaman told the seller, I think that headstock was bent when the major ding occured to the top corner of the headstock. A blow big enough to create that ding was big enough to bend the headstock. Maybe it can be bent back...but that is risky and could cause it to break. Of course you can just play it and enjoy it, but that headstock would bug me. YMMV

im not really a collector, the cosmetics don't really bother me. i would gig the guitar so my main concern is would it make it fragile in anyway.. also the microphonic pick up thing worries me richard
