Mr. Admin, I'm stunned at how great my old photos look in the gallery! I actually remember taking them, because I was so excited to finally see a Bean at this annual show!
So, can anyone identify this Bean?
For you Gibson enthusiasts, can someone please share the knowledge
what are we looking at
models
vintage
maybe a blurb about the pickups
Another General Observation: Switch knobs: Some are white
some are black
was it random
any thoughts or theories
Switch Knob Poll:
1. Wedge # 29 - White 2. UTB White
Also, with regard to missing pickguards
or as some of you folks refer to them as scratch guards
why didn't the Wedge come with one
Finally, in my last long winded observation thread, I had asked if allen wrenches came with the guitar
Kurt indicated, "in the little compartment of the case are two little ziplock bags, one with the keys for the case, and the other with three allen keys
"
and Vincent indicated, "warrantee cards, instructions and a set of keys. two of my Beans came with leather embossed Travis Bean name plates"
. So, did they come with them
maybe one folks that are original owners can reply
I'd think they came with them
. my other request was for a photo of a HB pickup
found it ..very cool .. especially after reading all of the Fender items

MOST TRAVIS BEAN GUITARS AND BASSES CAME WITH BRASS NUTS. KNOBS AND SWITCH HANDLES WERE VARIOUS TYPES (CLEAR,GOLD,BLACK,ETC) AND ASSEMBLY OF THESE ITEMS DEPENDED ON WHAT WAS IN STOCK AND ON HAND.
