Early 1977 one-off Artist doubleneck. Both necks stamped #1 although not the first Artist built. Has the smaller block inlays than the doubleneck red Wedge built sometime earlier. Spoke with Marc McElwee about this and he stated it’s double six necks were for having an alternate tuning as well as it being the only one built. Weight is surprisingly 16 pounds, rear strap button is directly under the bridge to offset the neck balance.
