On a more creative note, since some members of the community are obsessed with Wedges, etc. and no one (understandably, given the ever increasing prices) wants to actually part ways with theirs, they could simply lease them out! In the U.S. there are even tax breaks for leasing art to galleries. Perhaps if someone wanted to genuinely open a bean museum (not looking at anyone) they could pay owner of any remaining unplayed wedges out there, a per annum or six monthly rental (six months in the museum, six months back in the owner's possession). This actually happens in the art world. It means that the owner benefits by collecting rent on their prized possession, and the museum benefits by displaying otherwise unobtainable artworks (or instruments) in a collection. The works / instruments are of course fully insured by the museum for the time they are there. And when done as a rotation, the owner still gets to play / see their instrument every six months when it's not on display, as well as collecting a health tax break. Ah, capitalism and the arts!
