We don't get a lot of shows around here. Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky get the highest volume of quality, but these days there aren't a lot of bands that I will drive three hours to see.
And it seems like a lot of the bands that I would want to check out (old favorites with solid new records), like Deftones, The Hold Steady, Murder by Death are touring Europe this summer.
Dead Weather are playing Chicago at the end of July, but even that is hard for me to justify.
Criteria and Ladyfinger have a show listing on Saddle-Creek's website, but I don't know if the page is current. Criteria hasn't been publicly active recently; if the show is real then it could be worth the trip...to Omaha.
What about you?

My band was asked the other day to play a show with Arab on Radar in Rochester... I've never seen them live nor listened to their music too extensively (nor did I know they were even together anymore). Anyway, they're listed here as a Bean band so I'm excited to see them!
