$2000 is definitely too much for that guitar. granted it does have the black paint but look at it. it's going to have to be refinished and then the value is going to drop.
i personally couldn't see myself spending more than $800-$1200 on this guitar.
good luck and hopefully you can find somebody willing to spend $2000.

It looks like someone intentionally removed some of the black finish on the front to expose the wood - possibly as a pre-curser to a refinishing project. There aren't that many Beans available in Europe, so there might be a buyer at that price. I tend to agree with the earier comment that the value is likely much less because of the condition.
Fred - this is a serious forum and people are allowed to express their opinions freely, even if you don't agree with them.

For instance.. .look at this:

Here is a nice TB1000S in Germany. Currently at $1248.00 w/2 days left. I'd watch what this sells for... and base your price on that. This guitar appears to be in pretty nice shape.

its been a sticker on the front, the guy I bought it from tryed to remove i before I bought it...with a not so good result. people is free to buy their guitar where ever they want and if they want this guitar they now no where to find it. I just hope the "price police" also inform a seller when they have to low price on a guitar as well ;-)
merry christmas! / Fred

Fred, c'mon, man...seriously, that thing is SHOT. If you had a black Bean in decent shape, I would buy it right now for $2,000. That guitar needs to be stripped and refinished, which would decrease its value (in my estimation) by 1/2. Not to mention the cost of refinishing. You should refinish it in red, and then sell it as a refinish., You'd have MUCH better luck. I am just being honest. I doubt anyone would buy that guitar. You can easily find VG-MINT Standards for under $2,00. Best of luck! J

yo, i totally didn't mean any disrespect with my post about the price. i'm just telling it how it is and hopefully in return it would help you better to sell it.
not that you can't get $2,000 but it's very unlikely and i think 99% of the people out there looking for a bean will look elsewhere.
the idea jruk has about the refinishing seems to be your best bet.
once again, good luck in selling it regardless of how you do it.
