I'm getting ready to sell my TB2000, and am having quite a problem getting good pictures.
I'm no photographer, for sure! The problem is the extreme contrast between the black body and the super-shiny aluminum seems to always end up with glare spots.
Shiny black surfaces seem to be really hard to photograph. They show every dust particle like its huge.

Any ideas on lighting, background, etc?

I gave mine a good polish and took it out in natural light - no flash. It's not black though - natural Koa.

Yeah, natural wood is much easier. This gloss black is terrible to photograph alongside the shiny aluminum. I'll get brave and try natural outside light, its HOT out there in Arizona.
haha
Thanks,

Try shooting some pix of it outside, but in the shade. Turn the flash off. Kevin from EGC took a lot of photos of his instruments laying on the grass outside and they came out pretty well - even with a black finish and metal neck.
