I have a 2000 that I am considering selling, and was curious how much current interest there is in the basses (or are you all still looking for a 15K wedge;). If it does go, I would be open to selling it either through this forum or eBay.
The guitar is definitely a players instrument. All components appear to be original, and fully functioning. There are no cracks, nor any signs of repairs. The Aluminum has a very nice shine to it. It is mid- 700's, (the lighter body style. There is some finish wear that is typical of a guitar that has been played out a lot. Some of the wood is a bit worn near where you would find a finger rest under the E string. From what I have heard, this is not uncommon. There is some visible fret-wear that does not interfere with playability at all. I am no Luthier by any means, but in my opinion, most could probably be re-crowned easily.
Please do not contact me outside of this forum. If there is interest, and I do make the decision to part ways with it I can post (or email) tons of detailed photos.

thanks-

Kevin-
Is this Kevin from EGC?

I will bring the 2000 home from practice this week & snap some photos. Anything in particular that you would like me to try and capture?
