oh man that neck is a heart breaker. anyone think its slavageable? ive never owned a bean or taken one apart so i dont know how fargone this neck is. the fretting and new fretboard isnt an issue , i could easily do that myself. any ideas on value? or even if its worth it?

it could be useable provided the neck has not been bent out of shape and its still full length. it looks like the length hasnt been cut down. can any one tell me what that blue stuff is all over it. some sort of corrosion or reaction to something. electrollosus maybe. is it just the lighting. if nothing else and it stays cheap would be good for reverse engineering.

I won this thing- its not as bad as it looks. Its a neck from a 500- super thin, fretboard and frets intact and usable. it looks like a factory reject though, the headstock is machined over 1/8" off center. very strange- some one seriously butchered this thing when they attached the pick-ups-
