Here might be an opportunity to get a Standard for good price. There is a black TB1000S #394 on ebay right now. It needs some work.. okay.. it needs alot of work, but it might be a great 'fixer-upper'. There is no reserve on the auction and the starting bid is $500.

Here is what's wrong with it:

- Fretboard is detached from the neck (and broken)
- Missing fret at the 10th fret
- Missing pickguard
- Missing bridge tone knob
- Stripped knob (not sure what)
- wear marks

So.. lots of work, but could be a cool project getting it back up to shape.

Sweet!!! Good luck. If you get it.. let us know how the restoration goes. Make sure you post some help questions (if you need them). I'm sure you'd get some great advice.

Thanks!
