Hi,
I was wondering whether some guitar strings were recommended to be used on TB1000S. Or based on experience what kind of strings you will suggest to take full advantage of travis sound.

Thanks,
-Nic

See "Factory String Gauge/Setup Specs?" thread in General Discussion for details.

Nic - I string my 1000S with Elixir 0.11's. I like the sound of the slightly heavier gauge string and the Elixir's sound good longer than other strings, but they are more expensive. I don't think there is a right or wrong answer here. Try out some different strings and see what you like. Your Bean will handle a wide variety of string gauges.

Ill second the elixirs (if you are using plastic picks) i found they wear out just as quick as any others if your using metal picks. I like DRs (10-46) with metal picks They still wear out quick but are a little cheaper than elixirs. Stainless strings sound cool on a bean, they just feel really odd.
