Just stumbled upon this site. They have a couple nice, early TB500s for sale. Unfortunately, they were owned by some guy named Jerry Garcia. Bummer.

Holy crap! $500,000 & $750,000.

I'm disappointed to see these instruments for sale - they belong in a museum. I think that was the plan once upon a time....

I'd like to see them being played. They've probably been locked up in a closet since the '80's anyway.

Point taken, but who is going to take a $750K guitar on the road? I wonder which of Garcia's wives is selling these off. He played one of these TB500s for most of 1977 which many consider to be the greatest year for Grateful Dead performances.

Okay. If I pony up that much it's going to sit in a case. So a museum wouldn't be a bad idea...Hear that, Paul Allen!

Probably smells like a million cigarettes anyway.
