Member Profile

Bio:
Part of SF music scene since '65-'66. Recorded a few albums between '68 through '80. For a while was Bob of BOB & BETTY recording/mixing team.

Music: (musical influences / inspirations)
Jerry, Phil, Billy, George Martin, Jorma
Waylan, Stones, Beatles, Enya, Gershwin,
David Nelson, Buddy Cage,etc

Gear: (amps, pedals, etc)
Bass into Countryman direct, MIC output
into Balanced MIC input of rack mounted
NEVE 1064 module. Line out of 1064 uses OUTPUT LEVEL pot on rack mount package, then feeds 1 Meyers UMS-1P sub looping through to two Meyers UP Juniors turned horizontally and splayed 40 degrees.
If you don't have a vintage Neve I/P module, any clean CLASS A mic preamp, (preamps in Octo-Pre sound good, in my opinion.
