Hi all, I just bought a TB2000 #277 for my son. I am intrigued by this Bass and may have to learn how to play it myself. A friend had this Bass in his garage for years and we made a deal. It has a terrible paint job but is otherwise in good shape. It had only 1 string on it but it sounded real good when played, pots worked and the switch worked. I plan to refinish it back to Koa. I have a question about the knobs, how do I tell if they are the originals? They are clear, maybe a little amber apparently from age. I did a lot of searching on the internet for information before deciding to buy it, I think it was a good deal.
