Guitar was restored. Original TB body with black finish was found, neck was refinished in gloss black.
--------------------------
Body is now made of magnolia, matte-finish neck. Appears to have been intended for a black body and Imron neck, but was completed after the factory closed down. Currently being restored with a black nitro finish on the body and a black finish on the neck as it was originally intended.
--------------------------
This one's strange. Body was serial # 1415, neck is # 1412. Pickups are Fender humbuckers from a Telecaster deluxe. The bridge was a hardtail style with roller-saddles, the mounting holes all line up but it looks a bit small in the depression routed out for it. Also the neck has a one-piece rosewood fingerboard with birds-eye maple rectangular inlays. The neck except for the headstock face has been sandblasted so that it has a satin finish. The finish on the #1415 body looks original, but has checking. From the looks of Ebay, it's been up a few times in the past few months, and according to the earliest description, it started off with wooden knobs, but by the time I got it, it had black speed knobs.
